What We Do For The Patient

FIRST VISIT:

Detailed H&P with a targeted exam concentrating on pelvic floor defects, urinary and defecatory dysfunction
Preliminary complex Uroflow
Bladder ultrasound
Urine analysis +/_- Urine C/S

A patient’s definitive diagnosis may sometimes be apparent after the above initial evaluations, and management can be detailed and/or started. Most patients will require further pelvic floor and urinary work-up to better clarify their problems. These will include some or all of the following:

Urodynamic testing
Cystourethroscopy
Simple cystometrogram
Potassium sensitivity test
Pelvic ultrasound
Renal ultrasound
Endoanal/trans-rectal ultrasound

A description of all the above tests in a consumer friendly language is made available to your patients before the tests are actually performed.
