Our consultative services are geared toward our referring physicians’ needs and preferences.
- If an evaluation is requested, the patient receives a comprehensive evaluation of her pelvic complaints including all necessary /indicated work-ups. We communicate with you after each encounter with a detailed letter. We then make recommendations to you regarding the patient’s personalized management algorithm.
- If an evaluation and management is requested, we evaluate the patient as indicated above and communicate with you also. Following her definitive management, we will also communicate with you.
- If you have full operating privileges at the hospital of surgery and want to participate or be present during the surgery, we will make all efforts to actualize it. For patients managed non-surgically, we will communicate their progress to you regularly.
- Your patients will be made aware of the consultative nature of their referrals and they will be directed back to you after our services are complete. We will not refer your patients to another physician without informing you.
Neuromodulation is a clinically proven, FDA approved (since 1997) therapy for management of Refractory OAB (Overactive Bladder), Incomplete Bladder Emptying (not due to outflow obstruction), and Fecal Incontinence (the latest since March 2011).
